This is a good check list of what you need for when you go to a track day. This list is what Ti2tt uses and is from their site.

BIKE CHECKLIST

Tires: Should be in new or near new condition. We also have tire service available from Pirelli at all events.

Brakes: Check pads for wear.

Chain: Check tension and make sure it is lubed.

Wheel Weights: Should be taped down with duct tape.

Bolts and Fasteners: You should give your bike a once over before coming to our events and make sure that everything is secured and tight. NO COOLANT IN RADIATORS!!! WE REQUIRE EVERYONE TO RUN WATER OR WATTER WETTER IN THEIR RADIATOR. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Oil: Make sure that your bike's oil level is full.

Levers: Brake and clutch levers should be at proper adjustment and should be securely fastened to your bike.

Throttle: Your throttle should snap closed when released from the open position.

Mirrors/Turn Signals/Headlight/Taillight: All of these should be removed, taped, or disconnected.

RIDER CHECKLIST

Valid Motorcycle License

Current Health Insurance

Bike Key

Leathers  (one piece leather suit or 2 piece with full circumference zipper attachment)

Boots/Socks

Gloves

Helmet

Back Protector(Highly Recommended)

Tools/Lubes/Polish/Tire Pressure

Rags

ADDITIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS:

Water dehydration is a rider's worst enemy! We will provide drinks throughout the day and during lunch, but you are responsible for keeping yourself hydrated!

Chairs and canopy. It is nice to have a place to sit, and even nicer to have a little shade to sit under when you are not on the track. If you don't have a canopy, lots of folks do .... so make some friends at the track.

Change of clothes for when you are finished riding. You don't want to drive home in the same sweaty stuff you've been riding in all day.

I would add one thing. Something I see a lot of at the track.

Oil Drain Plug - Safety Wire or RTV sealant on it. Nothing will make other riders more angry at you than you dropping oil on the track and costing them time they've paid for.
