Anyone been up in the Ramona, Santa Y, Julian, Sunrise Highway area in the last couple of days? How are the roads? Thinking about going for a ride with my Dad on Saturday but really want to stay away from a bunch of runoff from the rains and possible snow.

Even if the roads are clear, it's going to be REALLY cold.  You're better off doing monte->borrego.

Well the last time I was on Sunrise it was covered in snow.  Laughing  That was a couple weeks ago though.   I'd say judging by the condition of HVR everything is going to be pretty dirty, but rideable.

I cruised up to Palomar yesterday on the VStar.  Little bit of dirt at the top of S. Grade, lots more going down E. Grade.  So I would expect all the other roads to be similar with dusty run off.

On the other hand, the weather was beautiful.
